The high salt wastewater is mainly composed of salt, which enters the VESALT scraper low temperature drying and crystallization system, and evaporates and dries under vacuum low temperature conditions, which can greatly reduce and remove the inorganic salts, heavy metals and COD contained in the waste liquid, and finally obtain dry solid crystalline salt, the moisture content of solid crystalline salt is ≤15%. The water vapor in the wastewater condenses to form a distillate, which is collected into a clean water bucket. The water yield can reach more than 95%, the water quality is clear and transparent, and the distillate can be reused as middle water or meet the discharge standard.

Refers to the high salt waste water containing organic and at least the mass fraction of total dissolved solids (TDS) is greater than 3.5% of the waste water. Because in this type of wastewater, in addition to containing organic pollutants, it also contains a large number of soluble inorganic salts, such as Cl-, Na+, SO42-, Ca2+ and so on.
Therefore, this kind of wastewater is generally the limit of biochemical treatment. Besides desalination produces this kind of wastewater, the other comes mainly from the following areas:
1. chemical production, chemical reaction incomplete or chemical reaction by-products, especially dyes, pesticides and other chemical products production process of a large number of high COD, high salt toxic waste;
2. Wastewater treatment, in the process of wastewater treatment, the mineralization caused by the addition of water treatment agents and acid and alkali, as well as the concentrated solution produced by most of the "light" water recovery, will increase the concentration of soluble salts, forming the so-called "high salinity wastewater" that is difficult to biochemical treatment.
